Charline Rannou is an art research master student at Toulouse University. She explores the relationship between body and food through attraction and repulsion and does most of her work with the built-in iPad camera. In her aim to give life to banality she creates images with objects from her everyday life and materials that have an instinctive appeal.
In the final result, the image becomes a juxtaposition where the attractive and the repulsive coexist, a meting point of desire and aversion. Charline questions individuality and the relationship we have with our own body as well as the food we consume.
